I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted here, but I meant for this forum to focus on publication. Truth? Although I’ve had several articles “accepted for publication” none of been “published” lately.
Then I got the below picture from my study buddy.
I had no idea this was going to be printed. What’s even funnier is that this edition of the magazine had been sitting in my study, waiting to be read for about a month. Had I opened it and read it I would have seen it before my study buddy!
This is a big deal to me. First, it’s Adult Learning Magazine. That’s a foundational periodical for my field.
Now, I’ve been told that book reviews being published in Adult Learning are not that “impressive” but compared to not having one published it’s certainly something.
Additionally, I just had another accepted for publication, so I’m looking forward to promoting that as well. So, if you’re interested in reading a book review about the book “Why We Remember” then run to your bookstore and grab this months issue of Adult Learning. You’ll find me there!
