Coming Back for More

I am fairly certain I know who Kim is, but it’s nice to see that she likes my writing (see more HERE). If she is who I think, this is not a “friend” review. Not only that…. She liked the writing so much she wanted more! I’ll be happy for the rest of the day!

The review above is of On the Edge (see HERE).

A couple of reviews ago (see HERE), someone wrote that my book was the "third in a loose series." He was talking about Vapor Trail (see HERE), and he was spot on. BTW, if you haven't bought Vapor Trail do so now. . . . it's great for holiday reading. Also, if you don't have time, there's my new collection of short stories! (HERE). Hint hint.

Regardless, I was not happy with the idea of a "loose series" when I first read it. Made it sound like a midwestern "loose meat sandwich" which is basically just a sloppy joe without the sauce. Who wants that? Who wouldn't be insulted by the idea of being compared to a loose meat sandwich?

But then I saw how right it was. They are a series, just unconnected. I went back and found Kim's previous review . . . this one of Toe the Line, and I'm glad she enjoyed that one too.

Anyone who says they enjoy the "tension, plotting and characters" in my books is a solid friend, and obviously a savvy reader!

Just purchased Stories From The Day. LOVE Shorts! One Short particularly jumps out at me. Can’t wait to get my hands on the collection. GO SHORTS!

Shoot! Next time let me know! I would have sent you a signed, free, copy! That's one of the (few) benefits of being a regular reader of this blog! Happy Reading!

If we ever run into one another I’m definitely hitting you up for a signature. If I’m not mistaken I have a signed copy of one of your previous works. Pretty awesome you published those Shorts. Interested more than you know in your upcoming novel, Sunset Perfect. Happy Writing!
