More on Sunset Perfect

As you all know, I am a fan of this loose series of mysteries and thrillers. Vapor Trail, On the Edge, Toe the Line all have working out and athletics as a theme (see HERE)

As a part of Sunset Perfect there is a theme of culture and trust, there's also a murder that brings up a theme of family and simmering betrayal, but all of this takes place around and among a football team that is going through some drastic turbulence and challenges.

Where did I get the idea to use a professional football team in trouble? Well, from our own little local team of course (see HERE). I listen to the craziness about this team often (see HERE). Also as a part of this book I'm doing a lot more research. Right now, I'm reading Collision Low Crosser which documents a year inside the 2014 Jets team. Sunset perfect takes place at a college football team and with and among the coaches primarily. I find college football far more fascinating than professional. teh players are more earnest, the coaches more redeemable, the characters more relatable.

Collision Low Crossers is a fun read and an interesting sneak peek into the world of football as an industry. I can't wait till someone writes about this Texans team. I think it will be an amazing story. Tons of drama.

Which is why it's the basis for my own novel, Sunset Perfect. Coming along well now. I predict next year to have it edited and published! Order yours now!
