More for the Evershade File

 So, I have a few more for that Evershade series I love so much (see HERE). These are super simple and sweet, but they hit me like all of the Evershade posts do, in just the right place. 

This first is from Siren, who I have posted from before. A hug can be SUCH a safe place, and a hug from that favorite person in your life, you "other" can be so much more than just a hug. It can be an experience.

More For The Evershade File

So, anyone who reads this knows just how much I love these Evershade posts (see HERE). I go about my day looking for those things that speak to me . . . Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, books I read, Reddit. They're out there and they all speak to me. I love em. And I contribute my own to the universe and to this blog. 

Princess Consuela Banana-Hammock, who has an amazing profile name, wrote about the best feeling in the world. We've all felt that haven't we? And when we do, it's like nothing else. 

The best feeling in the world is to be with someone who chooses you every day, not just when they are in a mood. 

A lot More for the Evershade Label

One of my favorite posts (and most likely the most therapeutic) are these that I label Evershade (see HERE). Why? I don't know. They express for me what I feel so well. Hope you like these!

This first is from AwayfromDevine, a great name, and a great sentiment. Eyes are certainly the windows to the souls. I have another where I mention eyes (HERE) this one is right up there too.

A Bit More Evershade

HA! Although this isn't typical for the Evershade series I like (see HERE), this did make me laugh. I've always loved Helen Mirren. She always looks like she's having a good time in life, and I would love to think that others look at me and think the same thing. Maybe I need to channel my inner Helen Mirren spirit more often.

There are couple more I've found that do fit the series a bit better. 

One Last One?

For a long time I kept alive a series of posts,  . . . poems and lines that I found via other sources mostly, that helped me deal with different aspects of my life and challenges I was going through. I logged them all under the rubrick of Evershade Posts (see HERE). 

I know I've recently closed down this thread but there always comes that time that you see that perfect post for a thread, and it doesn't matter if it's no long-running or not, you realize it has to be added.

Evershad-ed Even More

As I continue to add to this ever growing list of great, romantic, lines I catalog them here in my Evershade label (see HERE) and I think they're always worth reading again. 

That being said, I've got some new ones . . . and I'm looking forward to reading them again too soon!

This first is from "Just Kate" which is a terrific profile name. And it's a terrific line.

Tiger-Tom via Top Shelf Bourbon Elf wrote this next one, and I can't agree with the sentiment more.

As a part of the ever growing series with the Evershade label (see HERE) are these next few, I have to say these are pretty close to what I'm feeling, eerily close.

Another Great One

 This one is similar to one I posted a while back (see here), as a part of my ever shades post (see here) or is it evershade? Maybe evershades? Regardless, I'm not sure why I didn't post this then. Maybe times have changed, maybe I was just listening at the right moment this time. 

I don't normally listen to Adele or country music. Too many memories and thoughts that I'd rather avoid. My children don't hold to the same guideance however so the other day someone asked Alexa to play Hello by Adele, and it was this that hit me.

 I've been on a tear lately, throwing out more of these Evershade lines (see HERE). They just really help me in some sort of way. So, here are some more!

Been a While Since the Last Evershade

I know, I know . . . it's been a while (a LONG while) since I posted any poetry or anything regarding these Evershades (see HERE). I've been working on a new series, Everyday Sox (see HERE). 

BUT! I came across another couple and I just couldn't help myself in posting them and adding to this little series. 

The first, is a part of that image. Isn't it a wonderful quote. I've heard it stated as "love is composed of two bodies inhabiting one soul" which is just as poignant, but I thought that little image up there was pretty good too. 

Always Collecting More

 I'm always out there trying to find new quotes, phrasings and lines that help me make sense of things. I put them here in my Evershade series (see HERE). It's my one sop to poetry.

 I've been posting lately to the Ever Shades label (see here) and really it's become a holding place for all those little bon mots that I can't put anywhere else. 

The first is simple and and thoughtful and it hit me when I read it. Why not keep it here?

Too true. Sometimes you love them by leaving them alone. Maybe they come back. Often they don't.

Apparently my pseudonym is Molotov Scotch Tale. I mean, she could be my clone. We think the same things. Anyone who follows these posts would know that she has been a big part of these Evershade posts (see HERE).

Series Continues Forward

So, this series continues to grow . . . why? Well, first I love these lines. It's a good thing to find these little gems and appreciate them. Secondly, they help me figure things out in my own life. They resonate with me and linger, sometimes they emanate other light and other understandings. 

Regardless, it used to be that Great White North was my best sourse for these Evershade posts (see HERE), but lately it's been Molotov Scotch Tale.
