The Life We Want

Found another one from Umbrella Factory. Sissy and Vanya can't be together the way they want. Sissy is married, has a kiddo, stuck in a loveless marriage with a jackass husband. She would love to run away with Vanya, but can't. Vanya is her true love.

Sissy follows Vanya to her dinner party and takes her home in her car. They stop on the way and have a long talk. This is when Sissy says to Vanya;

"Some of us don't get to have the life we want, . . . that doesn't mean we don't want it."

It's a poignant message and the actress playing Sissy (Marin Ireland) does a great job delivering it. Irrespective of what a great name Marin Ireland is, it's a good line.Elizabeth, Betsy
