Finally Finding Silva

I hate when I read a book by a well-known and prolific author and find that I really enjoy the writing and the story. Why? Because it means for too long I didn't read the book and I should have. That I had been wasting my time NOT reading the author when I should have been.

That is the case right now with Danile Silva.

I've seen his books forever at the book store, why did I never pick one up? No idea.

This happened with Lawrence Sanders as well. I remember the first Lawrence Sanders book I read. Not the McNally series . . . those are wonderful, but not the same as his earlier stuff. I remember that firest time I read his earlier stuff and I absolutely fell in love with the writing.

Is that the way I feel about the Kill Artist? Not quite that way, but close. It's well-written and the characters have a ton of believable depth. Can't wait to read more from him.

As for the first line, not the most engrossing, but the rest of the story makes reading it worthwhile.
