Concrete Sequential Leadership

My friend Troy and I were discussing leadership training the other day. Our talk reminded me of one of our instructor-led, face-to-face courses on leadership (see here, here, and here).

In this course we review and determine the learner's personality and help them understand how they can look at others and determine their team's personality types. By knowing their own personality type and being able to identify others we hope that they can better interact with their teams and lead them more effectively.

Similarly, I think about how I may be a Concrete Sequential style (see here), but my son who focuses on observations of others learns in other ways. Knowing this I can change or model my discussions with him so that they appeal to him more.
