I've been posting about this alot lately, but here's another. I think the idea of an online whiteboard is pretty cool.
A couple of weeks ago I referred to a piece about online collaboration and how people were less likely to be confrontational and abrupt if they posted videos of their ideas rather than text.
Imagine an app that was integrated into Zoom that instead of writing this discussion would allow me to easily leave video posts that others would come back and react to with their own video posts. For example, instead of a three hour synchronous online class, it was broken into 6, 30 minute video chats that the learner could access daily. Then they would have to react with their own video chats for the class to see. This would break up the mass learning into chunks, and allow for learner reflection in that they would have to mentally script out their video and record, potentially making several attempts. Like your white board idea it would allow the learner to leave the video chat and up to be accessed at the other learners discretion. This would make it easier on their schedules too.
